Okay sorry for the long delay. I'm back in the TeensyMud mood. ;-)

This is what I'm going to be working on presently, in order and the reasoning:

1) Fix the odd client/server problems between Tmud and Zmud for good!

Most muds probably don't have to deal with this as they send just RAW data, but because of all the neato Telnet features, I've just got to fix all these quirks between ZMud and other popular clients like Mushclient. Should have been fixed a long time ago. I will be testing with Tintin and Muckclient as well, and will work through all the others that I have listed on the ClientData page.

2) Make Exits first class objects.

They are in Diku and TinyMud and for good reason. They haven't been in TeensyMud since I've spend most of my attention on kernel level. This is an easy change.

3) Security commands, secureing commands, DoS? protection, and quotas.

You can't put a TeensyMud server online when any user at can shutdown your server, spam you with commands, create mass numbers of objects or edit anything they like. This is an aspect that nobody should have to code or worry about when creating a game.

4) Integration with TeensyWeb.

OLC is first.

5) Bulletin board system.

I'm looking at implementing the minimal functionality of the forums in TeensyWeb in game. And out of game of course.

6) Help system

All the above will be in the next release.

You know, I'm a bit dismayed that you haven't asked me for help on the Zmud thingy. Granted, I might need a bit of mothering, but it really would be nice to repay some of all the help you've given me, if only in part.

Personally, I really hope to see that tmud / tweb integration happen. What's the prospects on that?

Great to have you back in the TeensyMud mood!

Unless your illogical imperial dates are messing with me, it's been nearly 3 months since last we had news.

What is the ETA on the next release, please?

I think the sun must be getting to me. However long it's been, it's much too long ;-)
